Why this Summit and why now?

This summit was inspired by my local community. I was notified of some pushback to adding nutrition programming to addiction recovery. It seemed folks didn’t understand the big role food plays in mental health.

That sparked a mission in me - to spread awareness and help people see how powerfully nutrition impacts the mind, mood, and our ability to relate to each other.
I want this summit to create change in family dynamics and local communities. When we nourish our brains, we can communicate better, have patience, and operate from love instead of anger.

My goal is for the practical advice from our experts to help you care for your whole self. I want you to feel empowered to interact positively and spread harmony.

Are you ready to dive in and learn how food can transform your mental health?

Join us and help shift perspectives.

“Enjoyed this summit. Lisa Angel Smith loved, loved, loved her explanation of the meaning of time management vs task management.  This really hit home for me. Thanks, great summit, so much great info.  I really appreciate you including individuals who included the spiritual side of things.  This is often left out. Still learning at 73 years young. Thanks again.” ~Gwen Bonner
"Thank you so much for all of this. The past few days have been wonderful and inspiring. You had some of the most amazing guests and I am just blown away at all the powerful information presented in this summit. I bumped my raw foods intake up about 85% over the past few days and I'm now doing high raw again after struggling the past few years. Like you seriously don't know how much I needed this summit. I thank you so much!" ~ Rene C. @renesintuitive
"The Thrive Through Food Summit was absolutely amazing! The speakers were informative and interesting. It is obvious that you practice your craft because your brain came up with the most fantastic thought provoking questions for the speakers and they all even commented on this fact. Thank you for developing and implementing the summit." ~ J Harris
"How lucky I felt that I was alerted to your summit via a communication from Dr. Baxter Montgomery. There are so many summits being shown on the plant based community in the past couple weeks! Your summit was one of my favorites for several reasons: that it was regarding raw vegan concepts, brain health, and even spoke of the food addiction issue. Being WFPB was fairly easy for me and I actually lost 100 lbs quickly but I was still able to hold on to my addictive behaviors eating in this manner. I truly believe that releasing the food addiction is as important for my overall well being than the positive results of a raw vegan diet. I think the hardest part of the raw vegan change has been that I can’t practice my food addiction eating this way." ~ Janene Marrs
"It has been absolutely INCREDIBLY AMAZING 🙌🏾💪🏾🙌🏾 I see evolution happening in All you’re doing because it’s time. We are in a New Age, it’s DIVINE Timing for TRUTH. So Let IT BE. ❤️" ~ Carol Baker
